Set 5-27-12

Here's the set for the week. In addition to posting the set I've also added two new pages to the blog (in the "pages" area to the right or in the dropdown on the mobile version).

I've added the Redeemer Song Catalog which contains a list of all the songs we've done so far along with links to the chord charts and mp3's. I thought this would be a good reference going forward.

I've also added another new page called Future Song Ideas. This page has a list of new songs I'm considering for future sets along with links to mp3's. We won't necessarily do all these songs, but I wanted to let you all have a chance to listen to them and see what songs may be in store for the coming weeks. Also, let me know if you have ideas of songs you'd like to do and I can add them to the list.

The set for this week is listed below. We'll be doing a new song called "All I Want Is You" by Phil Wickham. The recording is in B, but I'd like to do it in A instead. I've also included an acoustic recording of the song in addition to the full band version. I'd like to pattern it after the full band version, but I just wanted to include the acoustic version as another perspective since I had it.

Here's the set for the week. We'll be doing "Psalm 139 (You Are There)" by Mercy Me. The recording is in E, but I think we'll do it in D instead. I'm not sure the second section of the chart is correct, so let me know if you have any corrections (I'll work on it also).

I've also updated the Redeemer Band Schedule to include dates through August.You can edit it yourself if you have changes, or just send me a note and I can update it for you. Kyle and Hayden - I'm not sure which one of you will be playing this week, so can you reply to this email and I'll update that also.

I hope everyone is having a good week. The set for Sunday is listed below. I think we'll do the last song ("Psalm 63" by Jami Smith) with just piano during a time of prayer. I'm not sure the chart is exactly right, but I wanted to get something up to start with. Kale - let me know if you see anything that should be changed (and I'll look at it as well).
