Set 3-3-13

Here's this week's set. We'll be doing a new song called "Love Shines" by Austin Stone. The recording is in C, but we'll likely drop this to B or potentially A. Also, this week Gavin will be filling in for Hayden on electric and we'll be without Kale on keys.

I also want to make sure we have a good understanding of who will be out around Spring Break. At this point I know Andy, Grant, and Paul will be out on 3/17 (so I have Hayden on acoustic, Gavin on drums, and Blake on bass that week). Is anyone else going to be out the week of 3/17 or the following Sunday?

Set 2-24-13

I hope everyone is doing well this week. The set for Sunday is listed below. We'll be observing the Lord's Supper this week, so I've included a song ("Holy Spirit") that we'll do for a ministry/invitation time prior to the Lord's Supper. During the Lord's Supper we'll have instrumental piano if Kale is up for it and then end with a full band reprise of a song from the set (likely "My Jesus I Love Thee"). Also this week we'll have David Kingery filling in on drums as Grant gets a week off - thanks David!

Here's the set for the week. I've included the song for this month's memory verse as a potential additional song ("Psalm 16:11" by Brooks Ritter). I say "potential" because the song doesn't have a chord chart (and I couldn't find one due to the nature of these Verses Project songs). If Andy or someone else wants to try to work up a chord chart before Sunday we could add this to the set, but I don't want to plan on it since this doesn't give us much lead time. If we can't get it worked up we'll just do the normal four songs and look at it as an idea for next week.
