Set 4-26-15

As we've talked about previously, this week will be a little different. We'll be doing an "unplugged" set since the service is going to be held outside (weather permitting). If the weather doesn't cooperate we'll move inside, but still do the set without a sound system. So, several of you will get the week off. We'll go with two acoustic guitars, a djembe for percussion, and vocals. The set is listed below and we'll figure out some of the logistics on Sunday during practice.

Set 3-22-15

Here's the set for the week. We'll be doing a new song called "Come Alive (Dry Bones)" by Lauren Daigle. The recording is in Am, but I think we'll bring it up to the key of Bm. We'll be having another time of prayer/response this week like we did last Sunday. Also, while we'll start the service with the "full band" version of "This Love Will Last Forever", I think I'd like to go with the acoustic version for the reprise at the end of the service.

This week we'll be doing the set planned for last Sunday. This will include a new song/arrangement of "It Is Well" by Bethel Music. I'd like Amy and Molly to start/lead this one, so we'll likely keep this in the original key of G but adjust based on what works best for them. Amy and Molly - let me know if you'd like to modify this after listening to the recording.
