Set 12-23-12

Here's the set for Sunday. It looks like we'll be without keys, electric, and drums (and violin?) this week so we may have to get a little creative on the arrangements. The recording for "Christmas Time" by Phil Wickham is in Db, but we'll likely drop this to A. I think we'll be able to pull this song off with the smaller band, but Andy let me know if you think this will be an issue. Also, for "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" we'll probably play it in G rather than the recorded key of C.

Everyone stay safe while traveling and have a merry Christmas! Thanks,
Jeremy

Set 12-23-12
Joy to the World (Unspeakable Joy) (mp3 - Chris Tomlin)
Christmas Time (mp3 - Phil Wickham)
O Come, O Come Emmanuel (mp3 - Shane & Shane)
Silent Night (mp3 - Third Day)

Set 12-16-12

Here's the set for the week. For "Joy to the World (Unspeakable Joy)" the recording is in D (with a key change to E), but I think we'll drop this to A (with a key change to B), but we can nail that down on Sunday. Also, this week we'll have Gavin filling in on electric since Hayden will be in the nursery.

I hope everyone is having a good week. Thanks,
Jeremy

Set 12-16-12
Joy to the World (Unspeakable Joy) (mp3 - Chris Tomlin)
Away in a Manger (mp3 - Shane & Shane)
O Come All Ye Faithful (mp3 - Chris Tomlin)
Everything (mp3 - Tim Hughes)

Set 12-9-12

The set for the week is listed below. The recording for "What Child Is This" is in the key of Gm, but I believe in the past we've done it in Em so we'll likely do it in this key - unless it makes it harder for Kale to rock it on the keys :)

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday. Thanks,
Jeremy

Set 12-9-12
Heaven Fall Down (mp3 - Phil Wickham / acoustic mp3 / teaching video)
Raise Up the Crown (mp3 - Passion)
Angels We Have Heard On High (mp3 - Third Day)
What Child Is This (mp3 - Bebo Norman)

Set 12-2-12

Here's this week's set. We'll be doing a new song called "Heaven Fall Down" by Phil Wickham. The full band recording is in Db, but we'll likely drop this to B. I've also included an acoustic recording (which is in C) and a teaching video (in D) to help with figuring the song out ... although all the different keys may not help :)

We'll also begin to work Christmas songs into the set, so we'll be doing "O Come All Ye Faithful". The recording is in A, but I think we've done this in G in the past.

See you Sunday,
Jeremy

Set 12-2-12
My King (mp3 - The Village Church)
Heaven Fall Down (mp3 - Phil Wickham / acoustic mp3 / teaching video)
Waiting Here For You (mp3 - Christy Nockels)
O Come All Ye Faithful (mp3 - Chris Tomlin)

Set 11-25-12

Here's the set for Sunday. This week we'll be doing something a little different and do a reprise of "At Your Name" at the end of the service as a closing. We'll talk through the details on Sunday morning.

Also, with Christmas and the end of the year coming up, could each of you send me a quick email letting me know if/when you'll be out over the next couple months? I just want to make sure the Redeemer Band Schedule gets updated to reflect this (and go ahead and take another quick look at it to see if anything needs to change on it).

Lastly, in the spirit of Thanksgiving I want to again thank everybody for your dedication to the worship ministry. You truly are a blessing and I appreciate your work and willingness to serve the church in leading worship.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Set 11-25-12
How Can I Keep from Singing (mp3 - Chris Tomlin)
At Your Name (Yahweh, Yahweh) (mp3 - Phil Wickham)
Cornerstone (mp3 - Hillsong)
Never Once (mp3 - Matt Redman)

End of Service Reprise: At Your Name (Yahweh, Yahweh)

Set 11-18-12

Here's the set for the week. We'll be doing the song "Never Once" by Matt Redman and I think we'll keep it in the recorded key of B.

Also, at one point I had Grant being in the nursery this week - is that still the case? If so, we may be without drums this week.

See you Sunday. Thanks,
Jeremy

Set 11-18-12
Sing, Sing, Sing (mp3 - Chris Tomlin)
Rock of Ages (mp3 - Sojourn)
Never Once (mp3 - Matt Redman)
After All (Holy) (mp3 - David Crowder Band)

Set 11-11-12

Sorry for the delay on the set this week. I've been in Calgary (yes, Canada) this week ... and no, not because of the election :) ... so I haven't gotten a chance to post this until now. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.

Thanks,
Jeremy
